Here, without unnecessary bureaucracy, we explain what data we collect about you, why we do it, and why you have nothing to worry about.

1. Who are we?

We are an independent blog. We are not an evil corporation, a news portal, or a scientific institute. Our goal is to publish controversial hypotheses and observations, not to trade your personal secrets.

2. What do we collect?

Right now, we don't have comments, newsletters, or feedback forms, so we don't collect your names, phone numbers, or email addresses. When we add these features (if we do), we'll be sure to update this text.

For now, we only get boring technical data:

• Cookies: Tiny text files that your browser saves on your device. They help the site remember your preferences (like the fact that you've already agreed to their use).
• Technical data (Yandex.Metrica): Your anonymized IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and time spent on the site.

3. Why do we need this?

Purely for pragmatic reasons:

• To keep the site working properly, not crashing, and loading faster.
• To analyze, using Yandex.Metrica, which of our strange observations you read to the end and which you close after the first paragraph. This helps us understand what you're actually interested in.

4. Who do we share data with?

We do not sell your data to anyone. However, we use the Yandex.Metrica web analytics service. This service collects visitor statistics automatically and processes them according to its own privacy policy.

5. Your rights

You are free to do whatever you want with your data:

• You can disable, block, or delete cookies right in your browser settings. The site will continue to work, though it might show you the notification at the bottom of the screen a bit more often.
• You can use ad and tracker blockers so that Yandex.Metrica doesn't "see" you. We won't be offended.
